Europe has my vote. Dinner is better with duck or chicken. Add to that scones, any of the numerous moss drinks out of Scotland and Ireland. The German beer and sausage. German dutch oven apple dishes. :)

i votde for other, because my vote would be to the whole of europe. The culture that goes back thousands of years has produced many amazingly nice dishes. Each and every European country has its own amazing food, Scotland has haggis, which is lovely, England has such things as Cottage Pie and the Ploughmans Lunch. Germany has sausages and the Hamburger came from there. France has so many nice dishes I wouldn't want to name one over the rest of them. Italy has pasta. Ireland has stews, its true, the stew originated in Ireland. All the contries in Europe have fabulous recipes, and I personally don't see the need to look out side of my own continent for food, thoguh I do occassioanly enjoy chinese.

I love European foods, but Italian food holds a special place in my heart because I have spent so much time in that country.

There is nothing better for lunch than bread and pesto with some wild boar sausage and a local win to wash it down with.

I vote for Europe but my vote may be a bit biased since I'm Russian by birth. BTW, I love Italian cuisine as well

Well, it might just be me but I like to food we produce here in England just fine. Fish and chips can't be beaten, not those shitty skinny things you call chips in the US, but nice big fat greasy chips. Then there's the English breakfast... but it's got to have black pudding. Nothing starts the day better than a healthy dose of congealed pigs blood, nothing at all.

I said chinese, because i could eat it all day and not be full, its amazing...But i'm also a big fan of west and east indian cuisine (blame the ancestry) the best part about west indian food, is that its such a diverse culture (from slavery we gain brits, blacks, portuguese, chinese, and indian) i can sit down and eat a plate with curry , roti, chow mein and rice and not feel a little schizophrenic.

i jsut have to agree wiht Cervus that chips are not skinny wee titchy things, they are fat and thick and ever so greasy.

And I also have to agree with him about the English breakfast, though a scottish oen is better, partly because its scottish :P and partly because it has haggis in it as well.

English/Scottish/Irish Cuisine is an oxymoron.

You people need to come over to Philly sometime and grab a cheese-steak.

*drools at the thought of one*

THATS Good food.

HELL NO!

Cheese Steak does NOT go with fries. *wonders if Mordeci even knows what a cheese steak is*

But on the issue of American Cuisine

Thanksgiving Turkey slow roasted and stuffed with stuffing, cooked to perfection.

Thanksgiving Turkey slow roasted and stuffed with stuffing, cooked to perfection.

That sounds exactly the same as what we eat on Christmas and it is tasty.

one would be correct in assuming that Mordecai does not know what a cheese steak is, but one should also know that Mordecai has no inclination in learnign what a cheese steak is, simply because Mordecai is repulsed by the idea of red meat being cooked with cheese, it spoils all the delicious blood.

Xiph0 must implore Mordecia to be open-minded as Gio kids not when he says its that good. I love 'em and I haven't even had a legit Phili one yet.

What? You're dissing on a cheeseburger? Red meat + cheese can be a fantastic combination, assuming you can stomach the idea of grinding up the tasty flesh of a moo-cow. I won't defend the cheese steak since the few I've had are always ruined by onions, but cheese and red meat, that's like chocolate and peanut butter, a match better than the sum of its parts.

I went with Italian since there wasn't a crappy Americanized/Fast food choice. And Italian covers so many good chickeny pastas, pizzas, and good bread.

Cheese Steaks with onions are an acquired taste...

But with hot peppers? *drools*

Or even just plain... *shit now you've given me CSWS (Cheese Steak Withdrawl Syndrome)... Now I have to go out and eat them.... My blood itches when I don't have them in my system.*

I'm a bit biased but especially Russian food and all of European.
All the pelmeni, borsh, golubtzi, kolubiaka and vareniki.
Shit I want my grandma to come to the country to make all this food right now but I have to wait till 15 March when she is coming from US.
