Ah that made me smile a woman after my own heart, my wife didn't understand any of it. Then again she didn't understand either when I went apeshit on a CompUSA guy for insisting that an PCI ATI card was far superor to an AGP NVidia card, b/c the ATI was 256 mg of DDR, while the Nvidia was only 128mb of DDR3. CLEARLY the Ati was better he said, and started talking to me like a child, and literally took the box out of my hand. Due to Compusa's fucked pricing, the POS ATI card was like 50$ more then the better Nvidia one.

Gah! Please don't get me started on the MCSE who run that place. I stood in line the last time I was there in order to talk with the one guy working there I knew to be compentant (he'd been very helpful in the past and what I needed advice on was something we'd been working on together) and some Jack Black clone walked up to me and insisted on tryng to help me.

Me: Errrr... No thanks. I'll wait in line for this guy.

Me: I know, but they refuse to play well with my NVIDIA Geoforce FX 5200 I bought only a few weeks ago. I've tried everything and it doesn't behave as advertised. Not to mention the last two out of three ATI cards I tried were DOA and one of those weren't even the correct card in the correct box! Besides the most important thing I need is--

Me: Actually yes they do. The problem seems to be that this store just doesn't carry the models that have support or the manufacturer only claims support on their website and not on the retail box.

JBC: Well you KNOW WHAT? You should do your RESEARCH before coming to the STORE!

Me: I did--your website had what I was looking for but I don't see it in the store, so I need to ask questions to make sure what I buy does what I need.
