The fact is that people who aren't circumcised don't have a significantly higher risk of infection even if they have terrible personal hygiene, and it exposes the head of the penis to rubbing and eventual desensitisation and calcination.

Circumcision belongs to a thousands of years old desert culture - and it should have stayed there, along with other detrimental bodily mutilations such as clitoral amputation (still practised by some people in africa and the middle east) and that crazy thing that certain african tribes do with the plates in their lips.

Thats your opinion. My father and my uncle both are uncirc'd and they have had issues with infections once or twice a year if they don't clean it just right growing up. My mother's family as well comes from Italy, where most of them aren't and they dislike not having it done to the point of my mother wasn't given the choice for us.

I agree it's a stupid religous tradition for the cultures that have it, but it does indeed help. I've never heard of desensitisation nor calcination on the head, so I won't comment.

Same here almost. I felt the bit of my intestine drop down and when it did it felt my my world had ended. I had a (from memory, but I'm almost positive this is correct) incarcerated femoral hernia. If I did anything that flexed my abs it applied pressure to the herniated area, causing the intestine to inflate itself often to the size of a grape at it's smallest, to abit bigger then an orange at it's largest.

I think that's exactly it...the doc who patched his wang back together was this morbid looking guy. Y'know, the sort who does illicit drugs on the weekend while he give high school cheerleaders titty-jobs in exchange for sex.
