    Fire's Red Moon is an old fic. I remember reading it about 10 years ago. The well-read, fervent, communist Sailor Moon was hilarious then, and I still find her amusing now.

    I never saw the SM TV series, but I did indulge in quite a few of the SM fics that were written by reputable authors who wrote in other fandoms that I was familiar with, especially Ranma 1/2. Fire wrote some good fics and some not so good fics, but this is definitely one of the better ones. It's just a lot of fun.

    Red Moon got a brief mention in the "Greats of FF (not HP)" thread. That was before we got this nifty Other Fandoms sub-forum.
