    Title:Mandatory Marriage Contract Fic
    Author: Itsme66
    Rating:Unknown
    Genre: Unknown
    DLP Category:Unknown
    Pairing: H/MM (I suspect)
    Status: Complete Oneshot
Summary:AU post 5th year. A bunny that wouldn't let go. Harry is set up in a marriage contract, but things don't go as planned. Rated for language and blatant - if non-desciptive - sexuality.

I dug up the original post for the sake of correct formatting. Before it gets deleted, I'd feel better if it at least *looked* like a For Review thread.

So, everyone: please note Manatheron's no longer recommending this fiction.

    - Tinn.

I posted it for no reason other than this paragraph

Next morning, Harry was just contemplating how his luck seemed to have changed, when he got final proof. An owl, unknown to him, arrived, carrying a letter, and since he was still deep in thought, he opened it without care. The letter read:

Potter, I don't know what you did, but the Master has been in his chambers since yesterday afternoon, screaming himself hoarse. No Death Eater who wants to live will go near him under these circumstances, since those who've come too near all dropped dead, and nobody will ever believe in his superiority again. Act fast, and you'll win.

The Dark Lord Voldemort's house is located twenty yards due south of Little Hangleton Cemetery.

    My debt is paid.
    Peter

The letter was signed in blood, and Harry was speechless for all of ten seconds.

    Edit Indeterminate:

Thank you Tinn. Now that I've finished it, Here's the closing comments

Not bad on the whole. The romance was rather slipshod and plebeian, especially toward the end, but it did have a healthy dose of Political Harry, and is a Manipulative Dumbledore fiction bordering on the extreame.

It's not a complete disaster of 'L337' proportions, but it's not all that good either. On the whole i'd say it rates a pretty solid 2. More of a 'guilty pleasure' fic than anything as the underlaying story is good even if the execution leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Ya, Did it right to start with, but...

At a second glance it wasn't worth posting, and I'd be quite happy if someone would take a moment to delete the thread.

What part of that needed a second glance to tell it wasn't even worth posting? :|

I liked the fact that peter paid off his debt as nobody ever uses that. I hadn't gotten any further when I posted it, and I removed the recommendation five paragraphs later. It's not bad for a guilty pleasure fic, but in no way library, or even recycling bin material.

Besides, It seems I've done too good a job shooting down other peoples recommendations even if I only give a truly negative review to maybe 1 in 50. As soon as I post something people start looking for reasons to kill it even if they'd give it a chance if it came from some of the older members.

Or perhaps (and I doubt this) my choices in stories just differ that greatly from the average reviewer around here, who can tell. Regardless, I've little else to say on this subject.

So, summery in a nutshell: I liked an aspect, I posted the story, I read further and realized I'd made a mistake, I retracted it. Finis

It's this. No one cares enough to shoot down a story because you recced it.

HA! ya, cause if you or vash posted something similar there's so many people here who would be the first to dare rate it below a 3?

Yes. I am such a prolific and well respected poster on this forum that no one would dare cross me. Take the stick out of your ass.

I really, honestly don't think so.

Feel free to prove me wrong though; but in PMs please.

Back on topic, I've brought back from the dead your original post. If the story is so bad, it'll get deleted. If no one else feels like reviewing it, since you say it's not Library worthy, it'll get deleted. In the meantime, I like it better with the usual formatting.

Ok, I couldn't bear to get through the first chapter, but the OP's acknowledged the fail, so I won't elaborate. My reason for posting is: who the fuck is Morag MacDougal?

EDIT: @Oz: Cheers. After posting I did think to look her up in the Lexicon. Kudos to the author for an obscure pairing I guess...

Morag... good lord, that name is even worse than Agnes.

Is it just me, or am I noticing a trend in Mana posting... questionable fics for review?

    Love you too dear.

In case you didn't notice their both from the same author.

@Tinn: Ya, Over the top melodrama, I know. One of those days.

In my defense those few times I actually do find a fic worth posting I usually find someone's beaten me to it by about two hours or so. It's just...
    Frustrating...
    More than anything.

I do know that the stories I post tend to be borderline, but really? Really Really? I've seen some stuff I'd consider perfect crap get fours and fives from the first half dozen people to review it even when the OP warns you there's Cliche' and whatnot up the Ass.

    -shrugs-

    Like I said, Frustrating.

If the writer's lazy with the title, you can pass instant judgment.

This. True without fail. If anyone can think of a good story with no real title, I'll be stunned.

The fic doesn't have Manipulator!Dumbledore, it has Incapable!Dumbledore. Since when can a rather stupid teenager outwit a genius with over a century of experience?

You are being too generous here. It would get two stars if not for the absurd amount of character bashing and total OoCness of the characters.
