    I had no idea Codex Alera was written on what was pretty much a fluke. I'm even more impressed, now (my opinion on the last two books notwithstanding).

    Ya know, I always pictured Scrimgeour looking almost exactly like that. . .

    It was funny though. God I wish I lived somewhere where I wouldn't have to wait three months to get my hands on one of those books.

    Old news is old. Every interview or book signing he's asked about the idea behind Alera and he tells the same story.
    The moment he drops his voice and says Pokemon makes me laugh every time I hear it :)
