Yes, it is I -- Giovanni, here looking for a beta to a serious fanfic. No I'm not kidding.

Well actually I am... It's still going to be more of a humor-fic than one of the more serious types.

No it won't have random Umbridge/Harry action... Nor will it in all likelyhood have and of the graphic PWP that made legendary. Although I have not ruled out the possibility of some Hagrid/Kettleburn/Grubbly-Plank polyamory.

As for the specifics of the fic itself...

Probably going to be a 7 year AU deal. Won't be a rehash of the SS/PS through HBP plot-line though... At least not if I can help it. I will probably incorporate some of the more major events from each -- but the focus of the fics will be elsewhere -- like an 11 year old Harry running away from school to get on a 'Save The Whales' GreenPeace boat... Or a 15 year old Harry's lust in the direction of Madame Pince after Fred & George tell him to date Hermione/Some Random Ravenclaw because 'it's always the quiet brainy ones'. In our little hero's mind, Madame Pince is Hermione + 50-60 years of experience.

I won't have 10,000 words until sometime near the end of June... But if anyone is interested in Beta'ing it, please let me know.

The whole thing is pretty nebulous at the moment due to me loathing outlines with a passion (they usually block me up). I just know that it's gonna be fairly whacky.

I'm quite good at weeding out spelling mistakes, americanisms and also giving advice on how to help parts that don't flow so well etc. I also specialise in picking out americanisms, lol.
