I'm currently living in Lexington, Kentucky, where I am a student at UK. I was born and raised in Covington, Kentucky. It's directly across the Ohio river from Cincinnati, Ohio. Covington is a hellhole, and full of trashy people. I'm glad I'm not there right now. Kentucky is famous for three things: Horses, Bourbon Whisky, and UK Basketball.

Am I the only one here from Kentucky?

Been here ever since, moving around the country and currently I am studying in Berlin, though at this very moment I'm sitting in my bedroom at my mom's in Pforzheim, which is in South Western Germany.

Where from Indonesia are your from?

I have been to Bali and Jakarta. Bali is so beautiful and peaceful, and Indonesia is not insignificant (Your country covers so many islands and land in South-East Asia, I believe (or that might cover under the Philippines as well?)

I'm from Jakarta. And yes, Bali used to be beautiful AND peaceful... until a psychotic terrorist decided to set up a freaking firework there, If you know what I mean. Lots of foreign tourists were killed then, and Bali has never been the same since.

As for my own city, I can't be proud of it. Seriously. There are traffic jams everywhere, and in rainy seasons, flood always comes about.

Both of Indonesia and Philippines cover many islands. Indonesia has four gigantic islands, namely Sumatra, Kalimantan, Java/Jawa, and Papua, while Philippines has two-Mindanao and Luzon.

That happens a lot. Although, to be fair, it isn't unreasonable to ...automatically... assume that the oldest/largest/most famous city is the capital. How many people (even in the US) actually remember that the capital of New York state is Albany, or that the capital of California is Sacramento, not LA?

I wouldn't be surprised if a high percentage of international tourists think that New York City is the nation's capital.

A person actually rode a horse into town the other day, apparently his tractor was broke and he was to cheap to pay for a taxi.

Apparently he was also to cheap to pay for a horse. Turns out that he "borrowed" it of his neighbors farm.

Could be, but nowadays they don't manufacture much weapons anymore. But there were many factories here.

The Walther PPK, KKJ and P38 for example were produced here for the first time. The MP44 was also invented here.
Other labels would be Sauer, Remo, Simson, Krieghoff, Merkel and a few others.

There are still very good engravers here who specialize in rifles. One of my friend exports his engraved weapons to the US (especially Texas) on a regular basis.

Actually most of the time the temperature goes up and down around 0°C which is why on winters the snow is there one day and the next day it might be gone.
On the coldest days the temperature usually goes down to -15°C , but I guess that is still too cold for most people. On the coldest recorded day (in history) it was -23,5°C, however I need to check to be sure. Of course, drinking hot chocolate in winters is a bliss.

Canton, Michigan, USA, North America, Western Hemisphere, Planet Earth.

A tiny township where nothing happens and the people are throughly sick of being asked, "Don't you mean Canton, Ohio?"

Seagull Infested Pit, Troms, Norway.

Nice and cozy little place with about 4300 inhabitants. In other words, completely and utterly boring. The only plus about this place is that it's near Senja, where the nice views are. And the midnight sun, maybe. It's preeeetty... Way too easy to become nocturnal, though.

It's simple statistics  They have many people who speak something like English, I heard, so naturally, there'll be many of them on an English-speaking board.

Now, something that is indeed surprising: anyone else noticed the newest feature of FF.net? This where-does-my-reader-come-from thing? I had a reader from Andorra. I didn't even know they had Internet there.

As opposed to the rest of you, who didn't even know there was a land called Andorra >_>
