I have for a long time had an idea for a fic.
There are two boys who lived (the potter twins)
One is going to gryffindor the other to Slytherin.
The phrophecy is slightly altered and mention that two are coming.
And that only one can survive means that only one of the twins will live.
I have alot of ideas in this fic so if someone wants to write it I could tell you more about my ideas.
Im not that good of an author myself and english isnt my native language so therefor I would hope that someone with abit more skill then me to write it.

It's been done before, I believe. And such stories usually turn into angst fests or "super twins" >_> It'd be nice if someone could make a good story out of this idea, maybe add a worthwhile story to that giant cliche of Potter siblings, but I'm not really interested in attempting it myself. Too much on my plate already, and the idea has really been spoiled for me by the multipule bad ones similar to it... *sigh*

Try writing it yourself, and get another person to beta read for you. I would be willing if you wanted, or you could ask someoen else on the site. Most of the folk here are ready and willing to do that sort of thing at least occassionally.

As for english not being your first language, so? its not the first language of many authors, and if you get a good enough beta it won't really make any difference, because they will catch jsut about all the mistakes.
