I was browsing through my author profiles, and click came to shove, and eventually, I came to a story with the biggest, hugest, gorram humongous word count I had ever seen on FF.nuts. So I figured: Is there anything even... longer?

So, whence an extremely long story is found, I think it'd be cool (?) if you could just post the title, author, how long the bloody thing is; in short, the text in grey should go here.

FFS...he has 700,000 words, and only 147 reviews? Goddamn...

And thats nearly 800,000 words in only 23 chapters! That is fucking insane. Close on 40,000 words a chapter! Goddamn...

 

I dont quite remember its name but a year or so ago did I read a buffy story on fanfiction that was around 800 000 words.

That is by far the longest story I have ever read.

 

i don't know the name but i read an HP story that was close too 700,000 words before i gave up..

 

I'm reading Harry Potter and the Third Key and that's 90 chapters long.
Its posted in the library - gotta download the file for it though.

 

http://www.fanfiction.net/u/6342/ <=- that's still the king as far as I know. LINKed Up already pasted the big fic, at 2.289 million words spread out over 270 chapters. But he 'finished' that one. It's sequel is ongoing I believe and has 71 chapters, 700,000 words. So it's not hit 3 million quite yet for the two.

Longest HP fic on ff.net I think is Lightning on the Wave's most recent finished slashy draco and snape love fest. 125 chapters and like 770,000 words.

 

How long is the Thrid Key anyways? I have the fic saved on my computer but, its just to long to copy and paste constantly.
