    Title: Nimona
    Author: Noelle Stevenson
    Rating: PG-13 for cartoon violence
    Genre: Adventure/Drama
    Status: WIP
    Fandom: Original Webcomic
    Pairings: n/a
Summary: Lord Ballister Blackheart has a point to make, and his point is that the good guys aren't as good as they seem. He makes a comfortable living as a supervillain, but never really seems to accomplish much - until he takes on a new sidekick, Nimona, a shapeshifter with her own ideas of how things should be done. Unfortunately, most of those ideas involve blowing things up. Now Ballister must teach his young protégé some restraint and try to keep her from destroying everything, while simultaneously attempting to expose the dark dealings of those who claim to be the protectors of the kingdom - including his former best friend turned nemesis, Ambrosius Goldenloin.

This is a brilliantly illustrated webcomic that updates every Tuesday and Thursday. The plot is a bit cliched, but it's not really meant to be taken seriously (Sir Goldenloin??), and the art alone is worth taking a look at. It starts off a bit rough but chapter 3 is really where the comic begins to take off. Anyways, I'd suggest this for anyone who's having a crappy day, as it's guaranteed to make you smile.

Yeah, just read through it and it was charming and fun all the way through. The art style really grows on you and the whole concept is entertaining and interesting. Works quite well. Overall, one of the better webcomics I've read and it helps that there is an end in sight.

Huh, this section is cool with webcomics? That's interesting.

Anyway, I've been reading Nimona for a while now, and it's definitely a great comic. If the library is good with webcomics, then there is absolutely no reason this doesn't belong there.

It's pretty damn good; didn't know DLP was interested in webcomics though (although the short form plot webcomic is fairly rare)

So I wanted to go to sleep yesterday, and saw I had left this tab open, decided to check it out real quick before heading to bed. I really should know better by now....

Really liked it, it will be interesting to see where the author takes it.

    AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

This has been a test of the emergency broadcast system due to extreme suspense caused by the latest update.
    Thank you for your time.

It's a decent plot to show off wonderful characters. I enjoyed it. The whimsical and serious moments balance each other perfectly. 5/5

Someone needs to update this thread when the comic is finished. It's at ch10 p26 right now, and only has a handful of months left to it's conclusion.

Wow this is great. The art style kind of reminds me of the best of Penny Arcade, except with a real storyline and characters. Good rec Ennead!

Really great comic. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did.

It's now finished and will be released as a graphic novel next year.

    Here is the cover:
