'Tis a parody, my good friends, mocking all H/Hr shippers out there. The sad thing is that it does follow the generic plotline out there for most H/Hr 7th/6th/5th/4th... (etc..) stories out there, but it's written by a H/G shipper, and that makes it all the more disgusting and insulting. Satire is supposed to point out flaws in a ridiculous or comic manner and then suggest solutions for those problems... that's just ship bashing, and why H/Hr shippers now refer to Emerson from MN as 'he-who-shouldn't-be-named'.

Seriously thinking of leaving the fandom since I took up my english major. HBP was the knell that summoned me to hell, and HP just doesn't have that much interest for me anymore, esp. with things like this going around - ad hominem attacks on a very personal issue. Makes me sick.

 

I'm a little worried at how many people didn't realize this was a parody.

 

I am alot more worried about the numerous other stories out there like this that are NOT a parody.
