I know this sounds phallic, but I really do like Sausage. THey are delicious.
I was torn between that or Filet Mignon, or Steak Tuna (Its EXQUISITE. But since sausage is most readily available, I chose that.)
P.S. Hot dog count as sausage in my book. Not just the breakfast. I'm talking about the "Hot Sausage" guys that vend their wares from the corner in NYC.
what's your favorite meat. (Chicken and Fish count)

I, too, know this will sound bad but my favorite food since I can remember has been Italian Sausage or, even better, Bratwurst. However, forever? That'd be fried fish...[ no boiled ]
I'm Hindu, so it's against my religion to eat beef. But, since I'm not very religious and my parents wouldn't mind greatly, I really have a choice, but I chose not to. I mean, just looking at the steaks and hamburgers with the greasy and thin and stringy beef...::shivers:: I just don't like the look or smell of it, but I've never actually tasted it. Fish...I just can't stand fish. It tastes like...I dunno, but it leaves a bad aftertaste.
lol, And sausage just looks like a piece of turd. Seriously, I just laugh when I see sausage.

Favourite meat? Venison, if only because it's good fresh, and better fresh and fried.
Ooh, or even better: A good cut of beef tenderlon, the center section, not scrappy tip, with cabernet sauce and a handful of pomegrante seeds on top of it. Yum.

I don't like fish. My vote would go to beef. Cheeseburgers, steaks, those hamburger helper things. I love beef. Chicken's good but I can't stand it anymore. We have it for dinner at least twice a week.

I'm quite partial to bacon myself. In fact anything that comes with an English breakfast. I like fish as well, smoked Mackerel is quite nice. Though nothing can beat the old black pudding, don't care if it's not meat but you can't get better than the old congealed pigs blood. Yummy :P

i love all meats equally but it depends on how they are cooked.
for instance, I detest things like hamburgers. But i looooove steaks if they are well cooked, as in medium rare, red but not oozing blood..
I loooove chicken if its cooked in a sauce, but im not tht keen on it outside a sauce.
I like sometypes of sausage but dislike otehrs.
I love some cooking methods of pork but dislike others.
But over all I thnk lamb is my favourite meat, preferably roasted by me, because i make a mean roast, and my mum can't, which I find funny. Then again, I can't make a decent gravy for the life of me, and she can so....

I move that we instal Chuck in a permanent home in the S&P section.

LMAO, too late. He was one of the reasons the S&P section was created in the first place.

After he twisted my admittedly off color humor about Dumbles and his withered hand, it turned into Office Orgy which turned into the S&P section. I still get nightmares about reading that story.

I had Pigeon pie once... tasted quite nice until I learned what it actually was, then I just wanted to puke. Really... who would want to put flying rodents in a pie?

I had seared Kangaroo on a spit at some Brazilian grill, had alligater to, that tasted like a mix between fish and chewy jello, yuck. Kangaroo tastes sort of like beef and pork, very yummy. Duck is my favorite fowl though.

I've had cow tongue, but to me it was just som extra chewy beef, but I had it in a burrito so that may have hidden some of the taste.

I'm from New England, fish is like a staple for us. Seriously, when he have like 30 long shoremen in your family fish is always a staple food, similar to bread, grains and potatos. It doesn't really matter that much to us...

I probably like venison the best, if just for the fact that I earned it by hunting. There are also many things you can make with it that tastes way better than beef. Next to that, probably chicken.

Anyone know the difference between Pastrami, Corned beef, Roast beef, and brisket?
Thanks
Brisket is a cut of beef from below the ribs, which makes it tough unless cooked for a long time, thus we have discovered 'corning'.
Corned Beef
Brisket soaked in brine (salt solution) for several weeks, the brisket is then cooked in the brine and sliced thinly (damn those machines scare the shit outta me) and you eat it on a sammich.
Pastrami
Same as above except they smoke it before eating it...lol i like the sound of that...
and Roast Beef...is a cooking method used for larger cuts. Cooking in the oven without the aid of a liquid at a moderate temperature for several hours...
have a beefy, red meaty day.
FISH IS NOT MEAT!!...its fish

I can't believe only three people have chosen fish.
You're all really limiting yourselves - since there are so many different kinds of fish out there it's like loads of choices in one.
