The Old Firm derby between Celtic and Rangers on Wednesday has been postponed as a mark of respect for Motherwell captain Phil O'Donnell...

O'Donnell collapsed suddenly during his team's 5-3 home victory over Dundee United on Saturday and passed away soon after.

Although he began his career with Motherwell and rejoined the club in 2004, he signed for Celtic in 1994 for £1.5 million, remaining in Glasgow untill 1999, when he moved to Sheffield Wednesday.

I know... it was on the news a couple of days ago.

This is really sad, and sort of scary in how sudden it was.

R.I.P. Phil.

It happened exactly the same with Antonio Puerta, a player of Atlético de Madrid a few months ago.

Heart attack, no?

Some type of brain seizure or something. I don't think it was heart-related.

Yeah, some shit like that.

Hard to believe, the guy was only 35.
