To be fair, I can't think of any of the Netflix Marvel shows the haven't been a drag from around episodes 5 or 6 to 9 or 10. They should really just cut them to 8 or 10 episodes and cut out the filler.

Eh they have to try and make their characters seem real. I got tired if the Lewis shit myself, but the action scenes were great. Especially towards the end.

Overall it's a slow show. I always thought punisher did better as a movie than in a series format mostly because his whole story line is killing the bad guys.

I'm surprised everyone had such similar thoughts as me.
    1. Crippling pacing issues.
    2. Ugh. Lewis.
    3. Every Netflix Marvel show feels like it should be 3-4 episodes shorter.
    4. I didn't care for Medani either.

On the plus Castle, Lieberman and Russo are brilliant, and the story definitely does pick up in a major way towards ep 8/9.

I'm also starting to get a bit of a man crush on Jon Bernthal.

Without the pacing issues how would we have gotten the scene where Lieberman exclaims he's hung like a moose, though?

Funny how that kind of conversation was so familiar that I felt inside the scene, pleading with Frank for Lieberman to fucking stop.

It was a good laugh until the wife came up.

I haven't actually felt any frustration with the pacing. All seems like good fun, to me.

The pacing seemed a bit off, but in its near entirety, I found the Punisher quite enjoyable. Maybe that's because I binged it in a two day sitting - if I'd watched it one episode a week for thirteen weeks, I would have done a Lewis probably.

All in all, I found Punisher better than the other Marvel-Netflix shows, except for Daredevil Season 1. It's got its issues with pacing, but it's plenty fun and not segmented into two different pieces like Luke Cage, or with Jessica Jones where you feel like the show repeats itself twice over.

    Perfect? Nah. Fun?

    Fuck. Yes.

I like this series. It doesn't have a lot of criminals getting their heads blown off, but it gets through important backstory of Frank, so that's good with me. Next season (and I'm sure there will be one) will most likely focus on more vigilante stuff.

I'm really looking forward to Jigsaw next season, and to see Frank team up with David again. I feel like they made a really good team.

The sandwich scene was comedy gold.

Four eps into Season 2. The writing is pretty garbage so far, which is disappointing given how tightly written the latter parts of Season 1 were.

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't even wait a week to announce the cancellation.
