    NBC's Community - Thursday, 8 PM ET

    Description:

From Emmy Award-winning directors Joe and Anthony Russo (Arrested Development) comes Community, a smart comedy series about higher education -- and lower expectations. The student body at Greendale Community College is made up of high-school losers, newly divorced housewives, and old people who want to keep their minds active. Within these not-so-hallowed halls, Community focuses on a band of misfits, at the center of which is a fast-talkin' lawyer whose degree has been revoked (Joel McHale), who form a study group and end up learning a lot more about themselves than they do about their course work.

Starring: Joel McHale (from The Soup) and Chevy Chase.

This show is absolutely hilarious. I just got up to date on all of the episodes (hit up yidio.com) and in eleven twenty-two minute segments there were about twenty straight up gut busting laughs. Joel McHale plays an asshole that's easy to love, John Oliver (from the Daily Show) is in a couple of really funny episodes, Chevy Chase is the funniest he's been in twenty years and there is an entire cast of virtual unknowns that are very, very fucking funny. Including Donald Glover from Derrick Comedy.

If you're looking for something worthwhile to watch, I definitely suggest Community. Has anybody else been checking it out?

I didn't see another thread for it, so hopefully everything's cool. Cool, cool, cool.

Don't eat the crab dip yay yay!!

The Halloween episode was one of the greatest Television episodes I had ever seen. Chevy Chase dressed as Beastmaster and high on ecstasy was pure gold. Abed as Batman was great as well.

I don't find the main guy funny, but everyone else makes the show worthwhile. Abed is awesome.

    Favorite line:

"I'm worried about Abed, I think he's starting to confuse television with reality"
"Abed, you know were not character in a sitcom right? You have to stop making us seem like members of your television show."

"But thats my gimmick... Although I was a bit heavy with it last episode... I better take it easy this week."

Abed is not seen for the rest of the episode except with the occasional walk through.

Oh also the Fievel episode was good.

I started watching it when I read this thread. Awesome show is awesome. I hated all the cast at first but they've all grown on me. And Britta gets hotter each episode, that's never bad.

So, the season finale was Awesome. The season was great. My favorite was the paintball episode.

This show is amazing. And from an amazing show you have to expect an amazing finale. And Community delivered.

I mean, I thought that the Britta/HotTeacher/Jeff Triangle was the finale and then Whats-her-name comes along. I seriously didn't see it coming.

This show > 30 rock> How i met your mother, in terms of comedy.

    Also, sorry for the necro.

Definitely this. Community is one of my favourite shows on TV at the moment.

Finale was great. Chevy Chase had me in stitches, especially
    banana penis and teachers aids.

Not sure what that says about my sense of humour.

Watched it over the past 3 days, great show. I was annoyed with Abed for being such an easy take on the pop-culture asocial geek cliché (à la Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory) but he grew on me.

    The paintball episode was gold.

I was somewhat expecting the season ending, though in the last episode it seemed that Jeff/Annie wasn't gonna be real. Heavy hints were dropped all along.

Plus even if all three contenders are hot, Alison Brie > all.

    Bump.

Just watch the full series in a day, one of the best comedies around. Season 2 starts in just over 3 weeks. More people need to see this, brilliant show.

Anyone catch the new season premiere?

    Awesome show is still awesome.

Betty White was amazing, as well, and if you've seen the episode you'll know exactly why.

Love the show but thought the episode was a little weak. It seems like everything's wrapped up too quickly and they might want to start introducing longer episodes.

That episode was like a flash from Everyone's back/Jeff and Britta compete/Jeff get's exposed/ Everybody hugs.

Meh, I'm more with Seratin here. This episode wasn't on the level of awesomeness of the latter half of season 1.

It seemed to me that the episode was just there to entirely clear the air and get rid of pretty much any story lines left from the first season, as well as possibly reminding you what happened at the end of season 1, because I had entirely forgotten.

It seemed like they knew that, too. There was a reference from Ahbed where he suggested there should be more paintball in this episode, or something. I guess it was more about clearing the air.

Senor Chang was awesome incarnate, however.

The Chang sequence was pure awesome. :awesome

Personally, I was laughing my ass off at the antics the Anthro prof pulled.

I nearly died from laughter when she tried to maul Jeff with the gigantic crossbow-hammer-launcher-noose weapon. :awesome

And I want Troy's awesome PJs.

Is there room in this pocket for a little spare Chang? :awesome

Didn't like the Gollum scene though.
