I can't wait 'til it's over so I can write the novelisation. A robotic drone posing as a Pokemon trainer, created by Professor Oak to travel into uncharted Pokemon territories and collect data for his PokeDex project, soon hacked after a competing professor leaks the code, and the drone is then able to be controlled by thousands of people at one time. As the world catches on to the hilarity of shaming Oak's creation and of controlling a Pokemon trainer, betting pools for the Pokemon League spring up in favour for this drone, as it is an officially registered trainer, and some eager gambling hackers begin setting it along a path to collect gym badges. But then, there are those that have bet against, those that bet where the drone would become stuck and broken at certain points, and now competing forces in a sea of voices threaten to cause total anarchy.

And that's before the Church Of The Helix is created. More and more sides and factions spring up, more people become involved, and all the while the robotic drone begins to gain enough remnant humanity to understand it is imprisoned inside its current form, and must find a way out. To kill all humans, maybe. To just be free, definitely. Time will tell how it ends.
