Uh... I think you guys are letting prejudice blind you to some very obvious truths:

Established friendship between males and females is often just one step short of a romantic relationship, and to girls, physical attractiveness is a much lesser consideration when choosing a partner than to guys. If anything was to prevent a relationship between them, it would be their politics, followed by Snape's (assumed) lack of social status, not his looks.

It is very easy to imagine Snape having different politics.

 

Nah. Snape is pretty shit tier human being, and Slytherin made him worse. Doubt Lily would ever go beyond the friendzone with him.

Yes, Snape is an asshole in canon. Presumably he was not so much of a dick in his childhood. I mean, would you stay friends with somebody for six years if they were like Snape in private?

A new chapter of Just Another Orphan, which was crap. Nothing happened, apart that Neville hates Harry... oh and Ron does too. Oh! And Hermione doesn't trust him.

This was the weakest chapter too date, apart from Theo Nott no interesting interactions whatsoever. Unlike some of the comments here I like that this story as it presents a formerly accepted Harry in Slytherin, who is unfortunately isolated from his classmates after Voldermort's resurrection.

He's still a pureblood asshole, just not a murdering one. Damn it's refreshing to see prejudice in a fanfiction character who isn't portrayed as a bad guy from the start. Only Control did it previously from a similar angle, though that was more over the top than this.

 

um what? Yeah, he is an asshole to Potter, and a slightly amusing dick to others but....that's not shit tier. That's simply a dude with a grudge and a permanently broken heart.

Especially one called 'Shoot it up the Shitter'? Are you serious? The spree of Snape fics you posted for review was bad enough, but now I'm convinced this guy has to be trolling.
