    Pretty certain that you get the Weedle line in Red, not sure that you can even get a Caterpie. Outside of that... boy are you boned. I don't think Pidgey, Beedril or Rattata learn a single special move between them and given Onix's rock solid Defense stat... well all normal, poison, and flying moves are basically worthless. Although I guess you could go full scum mode and level Rattata until it gets Super (or was it Hyper?) Fang if that was even a thing in Gen 1.

    Russian Roulette- After every battle, roll a die/use a RNG and use the result to determine who leads your party until your next battle. Edit: changed from Russian Roulette to Death or Glory: No switching during battle, a pokemon fights until it has defeated all the opposing pokemon... or it dies.

    Thanks to Poytin I get my Casper to evolve into a Trevenant. And then two fights later against the Grant Rematch, cockiness got Casper killed, oh well. NEXT! Decide to take Wingull for a Fly Slave. I'll probably use another catch later, whatever, time to roll the next portion of the story.     Well, since I know that Murkrow doesn't learn anything interesting, I spammed Secret Super Training 6 to get a Dusk Stone and turned Raven into a Honchkrow. Since I think waiting until 55 for Night Slash is lame, I used the Move Relearner to get it 37 levels early. Since it needs some levels pretty bad, it's time to beat up the Chateau for tons of levels and cash. I miss getting the Audino trainers here. While grinding levels, I manage to become an Earl.     Thunderbolt is able to farmed the second you get to Goldenrod, as is Ice Beam and Flamethrower. And yeah, no Mareep for me. On the other hand, my Jolteon has a Hidden Power Grass so that may have been a deciding factor, that and I hoped to get a Staryu once I got a Super Rod but that plan fell through, I DID get a Chinchou which when turned into Lanturn is such a troll 'mon it isn't even funny.

    I just threw Psychic on Lapras, got me a Jolteon and called it a day. Then again, my Jolteon had good IVs and a good HP with a decent nature. Plus this game doesn't have too much of a use for Psychic types, just Koga and his daughter at his old gym.     That's ok, you get two chances to catch a Murkrow right outside of Celadon, just make sure to only try and catch it at night. Plus, Toxic walling isn't that useful in-game since by the time it becomes a viable strategy, most trainers are carrying multiple full restores on them.
