    See, that's actually what killed it for me. I read like 3-4 more chapters and Naruto gets the whole cliche let's-learn-seals thing. Sasuke calls him Fuin-dobe (nearly closed it the moment I read that). If you were in a ninja village and you had eyes which allowed you to become a SICK FUCKING ASSASSIN WHO CAN CONFIRM KILLS BY STABBING SOMEONE IN A REALLY RANDOM PLACE... you're probs not going to be learning how to seal randomly. Like, that's such a waste.

    Wasn't really impressed to be honest. Cold, vaguely abusive sasuke made me super uncomfortable from the start. It didn't really get better. There's a weird shallowness to the characters - like I know all of their motivations and everything feels so preprogrammed. Maybe because it's because it's such a long fic and has to be planned rigidly or whatever.
