    I think thats overly harsh. Sure the metas for a reason, but usually that doesnt come into play unless youre either choosing a really poor choice (symmetra comes into mind) or if youre at a really high skill level where minute differences matter. Besides dva can be pretty useful as a flanker and to shut down ults like roadhogs and reapers.

    It's not the off meta picks that irritate me. It's the people who insta-lock Genji at the beginning and then refuse to switch while everything is going to hell in a handbasket and they're sucking ass. And if you're not willing to change (unless you're on an essential role) then you shouldn't be asking others to either.

    I'd go for cyberspace definitely. Also from what I've seen and heard of her abilities she sounds a bit like an OP version of Tracer- as somebody before me mentioned. Looking forward to the new game modes too.

    Tbh most of the champs are pretty easy to play. But if you want simple ones to start off with, to get a handle on the game, I'd suggest Junkrat, Soldier 76, Reinhardt and Lucio. Just pick the one which has your preferred role. Once you know what you're doing explore and find the one which suits you best- do try them all.

    Quick play seems to be good for what you have in mind, just remember that you can occasionally get some really bad team comps and shitty teammates. I'd highly recommend the game anyways though, especially if you can grab a friend or two to play with you every now and then.

    'Polished and quite fun' sums it up for me, honestly. It's perhaps not a game that you can play for hours at an end, but it is a game you can always come back to for a quick, fun experience- solo or with friends. Personally, as someone who rarely gets time to sink in an immersive game, I really enjoyed it but (as mentioned above) ymmv. Also I've gotten quite good with Reinhardt recently. All I need now is that shiny new skin gdi.

    ranked on ps4 just came out, so the bastions haven't evolved quite to that standard yet. a semi decent genji or junkrat are usually good enough to take care of them.

    D.va is love. D.va is life. Started off with Tracer first because, well, she's on the cover and all. Didn't go too well so I tried McCree next who was ok, but died too much. I sucked with Reinhardt so I tried D.va next and damn. Got my first play of the game while I was out of the mecha shooting up people. Felt so good. Also I now understand the hate for Bastion. Piece of shit.
