    We have passed the 3000 members mark!!!

    We are currently on 3005 and I can't be assed looking at who was 3000.

    Chances are we'll never hear from them though...

    Took awhile to get from 2500 to 3000. Longer than it took to get from 2000 to 2500 at any rate. It has slowed down quite a bit.

    Anyways, good stuff. :)

    You would think it would speed up what with the 5th Movie and Last book about to come out. Maybe we will get a massive influx in July.

    I think a lot of people will join us after the OotP film, too. Well look at the pictures! Eeeew. The girls (G-girl, H-girl and C-girl are really pathetic) Bella is ok, Tonks maybe. I would like to see the others too. Maybe Daphne or some Puffs.
    I hope they will come because they are like the people here or eventually leave very-very fast if they aren't...

    ....I'm not entirely sure what the pics for OotP have to do with gaining members here...

    But my guess is that the new movies and the new book are driving more people to read fanfiction, and DLP has infiltrated fanfiction a great deal over the last year and especially in recent months. It's becoming more and more likely, slowly, to find a DLPfic and like it so much that you just have to find out about the place that a lot of our authors mention in their profiles or directly in their story pages.

    Obviously as the books/movies have grown more intense, darker and are coming to that point where Voldemort and Harry finally battle it out, there is a need and a hunger for darker, more intense fanfiction. Not to say that the tripe out there is on the decline, but definitely the good stuff (the stuff DLP represents) is on the rise.

    Anyone who joins will essentially be looking for good fanfiction. Whether or not their taste for good fanfiction is enough to make someone a suitable member is debatable.

    Well we could get a bunch of new members who are pissed about the book and go looking for some good Harry Potter reading. That is how I ended up finding DLP anyway. Go us and cheers :cheers:
