I can't really imagine reading this without any knowledge of the game, but I guess you could. As long as you don't mind being surprised by all the plot twists(maybe half of which have anything to do with the game itself). A 5/5 if I've ever read one.

Duo swords is what it's all about. Keep in mind that it is written over the course of three years and you will notice the authors writing style alter and skills improve.
