Hey, I uploaded a chapter from my documents earlier but something was wrong. When I uploaded it in html form, every second word was surrounded by different tags, when I uploaded it in word form, the formatting was shot.

Is there a preferred form to upload the chapters in?

I've had pretty good luck uploading in Word format.

The only things that don't seem to work are that I can't "center" text after uploading and occasionally editing can be a problem. (One of my chapters lost its "title" bar and merged the first sentence into the A/N at the start and it doesn't seem to be fixable without replacing all the text). Can't say whether this is related to the upload format though.

In word, everything just clumps together in a giant wall of text.

Interesting. For what it's worth, I do my composition on a Mac using the Pages software and then export to Word format. This seems to work for me. Doing the same, but an export to HTML worked before on one of my one-shots (AICC).

Maybe you've somehow offended the computer gods? Sacrifice a chicken Pedro Cerrano style and see if it helps....
