The latest episode was pretty good, even though it was outside their normal setting. Pierce dicking with Britta was good. Abed being a documentary director for this episode was done well, but it's an overplayed joke in the series. Shirley confessing to using guilt as a weapon, and then one second later using guilt as a weapon, was great.

The episode was a bit rushed though. The pacing was off. They had to cram in the gifts and reactions and afterthoughts of every member of the study group. It was squishy trying to compress all of that into a 20 minute format.

TROY: Me and Abed have an agreement. If one of us dies, we stage it to look like a suicide caused by the unjust cancellation of Firefly.

TROY TO CAMERA: We're gonna get that show back on the air, buddy.

Pierce had his moment with holding on to grudges! Also liked how Pierce referrenced earlier shows where he was excluded, the trampoline incident.

You hit the nail on the head, too much information and not enough screen time.

Speaking of which is airing on the science channel in march, the full season!

They've had a couple of lackluster episodes, so this one was quite the relief.

It's a good entertaining show. But science channel?

Yep. The last really good one was ep 12, the Kettlecorn "It makes me so changry" episode.

The drug play, Dungeons and Dragons, and lesbian friends eps all had good jokes, but just never reached the heights I've come to expect from Community. It was a disappointing trend which I'm glad they rose above a bit with ep 16.

^ This. Abed's side adventure was pretty awesome. Also lol'd at the 'notches' stuff.

Hell yeah. Ep 17 was a return to form.

It has Jeff/Annie, Magnitude, Abed's secret girlfriend, Decision Gate, rubbishing The Last Airbender movie... and who is the assailant known only as the ass-crack bandit? The main plot revolves around the deconstruction of politics, but it's nothing I didn't see in South Park years ago, reducing the impact now. The plot acknowledged South Park's contribution, but that didn't change much for me.

This episode wins for the awesome jokes, and the focus on the Jeff/Annie and Abed/Robin relationships. It was awesome seeing Abed turn the tables on the Agent. In a way, Robin's interactions with Abed reminded me a little of River [Firefly]. Not by her looks, but by her manner and conversation.

This episode put me in my happy place.

    Just caught up there.

Holy shitballs. Some of the episodes have been amazing, some have been almost-amazing. They're playing the Jeff/Annie romance nicely. It came out of left field at the end of the first season and to me it still seems like a major, "wtf?"

She's amazingly annoying yet there's still something that occasionally makes her cute. Mostly when she gets angry or isn't being sickeningly fucking sweet. The little tiny hints of the romance here and there are enough to keep me interested without putting me off completely. Unfortunately though, knowing community; they're just trolling everybody hardcore.

Agreed. I laughed so hard at this episode. And they have to make an episode where they're in a asylum or the one with the drug dealers.
