Alright, here's the plan for the next contest:

Two months, deadline is January 2nd, 2012 - so you can cure your hangover before you submit.

Topic is whatever you want it to be - Free For All. Not explicitly 'General' but, you know, like, whatever.

Looked at the announcement title and decided before clicking that nomatter the contest topic I would write for it... Problem here is that I can't look at a topic or genre and have the juices start flowing immediately. Good side, however, is that if I can sort some time out, I could use it as a trigger for any of the half-baked ideas currently sitting neglected somewhere on my hard drives.

Blurgh. Overall, this could go very well, or terribly.

 

Hmm, might write something myself if I have the time.

 

It's two months, with holidays. Time shouldn't be the issue.

Maybe I could use this as an excuse to start publishing the sequel to CS c:

Anything, you say? Hmm...does Harry Potter have to be involved? I do have a crossover I've been meaning to dust off, which I ought to be able to do something with, but it's not HP related.

 

I'll probably going to try to bang out the Azkaban story I didn't have time to write in October for this one. We shall see.

 

I can understand that, but it's not like DLP doesn't have a lot of fanfic for other fandoms. I've got a couple of other bunnies that are HP connected (again, crossovers), but I'd actually have to take some time to develop those

 

For a moment I thought "Free For All" meant 3-6 factions just having a huge FFA (of a war, a fight or just some political factions) going against each over, backstabbing each over and shit like that. Would have been awesome to have a contest like that.

 

My last exam is tomorrow and the dealine's two months from now. I might just try my hand at this one.

 

If you don't mind, I'd like to actually use this idea possibly. Are you planning on actually writing?
