It's clearly stated at several points in the book that Thomas is a fat, ugly jerk who has green eyes and glasses just like Harry Potter.

    >.>

Also, I haven't done much tabletop gaming and I probably play this either since I don't know anyone who does, but how much background info is this likely to contain? I've never looked at one of these type books before, so Jon's comment interests me.

The price is a bit high ($90 = ~6 hardcover DF books), but I might actually order them.

Since I have a bunch of people with whom I play various RPGs and two of them are DF addicts just like me, it won't be a total waste of money... heck, I'd buy them just for Butcher's input.

    So, anyone got this?

I will probably buy it in the near future. Right now I'm convincing my group to read the books. Also I'm wondering in which city to play, because Dresdenizing Upper Silesia would be a pain in the ass.

@Bukay - Will you and your group Dresdenize Warsaw or go to some other city?

Yeah. I've got em. Still in the middle of reading the first one, but it's awesome so far.

I'm building a version of my home town, Philadelphia. Shaping up to be... intresting.

Hi, I'm Mindless, and I'd like to welcome you to DLP. As you probably don't know, we happen to have an IRC server.

Hi Mindless, I'm Vir. Nice to meet you. I know that DLP has a wonderful IRC server. However, a play-by-post system would allow members to fully describe their actions to everyone and not really worry about how fast someone could type in a chat room.

Sounds boring sitting around waiting for someone to decide to post in a forum =/= fun.

Putting someone on the spot and getting awesome results from quick thinking == awesome.

Check out this podcast. Fred Hicks form Evil Hat describes supplement for DFRPG. It will describe South America, Las Vegas, Everglades, deep parts of the Nevernever and Russian Revolution. It will include catch-up chapter up to Changes and Aftermath. Every chapter should be as long as the Baltimore chapter in the first book.

There is one small piece that is very interesting. The writers were talking with Butcher about the Nevernever chapter and asked him about the Gatekeeper. Butcher described the Gatekeeper domain and the way to it. Apparently to get to the Gatekeepers citadel you need to walk acrose the surface of the moon:awesome
