This is way simpler than the fanficdownloader code, and that's saying something, since I'm more comfortable with python than javascript. I'll probably stick with fanficdownloader, though, since I can run it from the command line and copy it to dropbox quickly enough.

Anyway, not sure if you intended it to be this way since you recently changed hosts, but I can currently get to your archived EPUBs by just going here:

I don't suppose a conversion to Mobi files will be coming any time soon? I use my Kindle for fanfic reading/storage, so it would be nice to be able to just download to it.

Just install Calibre and have it handle all of your ebook conversion. It's extremely simple and the software is extremely useful in its own right.

Feel free to add it, I added GET support for my page, so the link has to be something like this http://www.p0ody-files.com/ffnet_to_epub/?id=FF.net_ID and should auto start converting and download as soon it is done.

Mobi support added, tell me how it looks.

I'm converting with kindlegen (http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?docId=1000765211) so it should be compatible.

Oh and BTW, i changed the URL to http://p0ody-files.com/ff_to_ebook/, but using the old link should automatically redirect.

I just picked some random story, converted to mobi and moved it to my kindle. It works just fine. I would add some information about a story though. Some summary would be good, maybe pairings, word count, etc.

But good job nevertheless. I appreciate your work.

Apologies for the necro but the domain for this convertor seems to have expired.

That's unfortunate. I haven't needed the ebook converter for a while now, but it's been an invaluable service at times.
p0ody was last here just two days ago, so he's still active.

I'd forgotten about this thread, or I would have come here sooner.

You're right, the domain expired recently, and p0ody has moved it to a new domain. They're working on a new version I believe, but for now the old one is still available at http://ff2ebook.com/old/. I'm not sure what the status is on the new one, but that will be available at http://ff2ebook.com/.

    Somehow today,

    http://www.ff2ebook.com/
    http://www.ff2ebook.com/old/
    http://node.ff2ebook.com/

None of them are working except

    http://ff2ebook.com/old/mobile/index.php

Your site is lifesaver and I never read online anymore after i discovered your site.

    I have one feature request,

Can u add a option to download all the fics of an author maybe in .zip format
Its so pain to enter url for each and every fic and believe me some authors like nonjon or Clell65619 have huge collection. So just enter author id and bingo all the books are waiting for you:)

    Edit:

Sorry the sites are working. they were blocked by uMatrix bt gorhill. I have no idea where they clashed as umatrix was simply blocking resources from being loaded from third party. that or frames maybe. Sorry!

It's good to see that this service is still receiving love. It can be a critical sanity saver in certain circumstances.
