    It hasn't been 'confirmed' but considering every other final fantasy title has been ported, it's expected.

    In addition, I remember reading an interview where the producer said that if they do release it on PC, it won't be a simple port, but rather an upgraded version that takes advantage of the PC's hardware.

    Not sure how accurate it is, or the possible timeframe, but it is a thing.

    The only word we've gotten on a PC version is that "It's not planned." So if there WERE to be one... then it won't be for a while (a year+ probably). But hey, infinitely more likely than KH3 for PC.

    Ok, TIL. I knew that FFIX had been ported, but it's nice to see FFX and X-2 there as well. I actually dug out my PS2 over the last holidays and started playing FFX again, for nostalgic reasons. But it turns out my controlelrs haven't really survived. I was going to buy more, but I actually might just buy it on my PC and play on that. I like the speeding up ideas, as those encounters were getting a bit tedious, I'll be honest.

    Yeah, my PS hardware has died over the years, so I've purchased FF 7,8,9,10,10-2,13,13-2 and Lightning Returns on Steam. I'm keen for FF 12 as well.

    Tabata recently confirmed that it would take them over a year to build the pc version, if they do indeed follow through with that (aka they have not even started). Probably will be even longer if Business Division 2 gets chopped up to work on FF7:Re.

    It's going to be a long time, sad to say.

    Wut.. You shoulda just waited for the psPRO, well not that it's any good compared too... XboxONEs or Switch.


    I'm really really worried about the FPS for FFXV. Hate if it goes down below 30fps like Witcher III. Ugh, that was painful to play.

    I played 2 hours this morning. Spent almost entirely fucking around the tiny starting area.

    Spending my early skill points on evade mechanic.

    That doesn't say a lot. Many of the older games got insanely high ratings. FF10 comes to mind.
