It's been here before. 4/5 for uniqueness. Minus 1 point for lack of magic.

I'm pretty sure this has been posted here before. I remember the name. Obviously didn't make it to the Library, but afaik the general sentiment was enough for the Bin... o_O

    Edit: I'm wrong. About both.

Almost positive this is a dupe... and a shitty non-HP angst dupe to boot.

Search showed it was in the WTF fics thread. Never put up to review. 2/5 for me. To angsty. To not Harry Potter.

I give it a 4.5/5. There would be a full score if it wasnt for the lack of magic. Harry practically being a serial killer is kinda wierd but there is a whole dark angst that is messed with a single twisted ambition that's pretty neat.

It's creapy though. and the last line is fit for the freak parade.

Creepy as hell, but wonderfully written. Rather liked Harry's ability to know the future, sort of a fun twist on the accidental magic front. I'd recommend reading it, just maybe not while eating. Am sort of curious what Voldemort would make of this Harry, which of them is more twisted?

That was actually pretty dark for a pre-Hogwarts fic. Fits my tastes for darkness though so I'll give it a 3.75/5

Yeah, part of Daystar Clarions work.
While this is quite amazing, I never put it up for review since it doesn't have enough HP elements yet.
However, since this is for reviews, 5/5.

That was...unique. I'd be interested in seeing a full story based on this, myself. But, alas, it's a one-shot. 4/5.

I liked the idea, but like previously said. Not enough HP elements in it for me. It might be better if it weren't a one shot. 3/5

5/5. I loved this from start to finish.

I went into it very apprehensive about it, specifically with the mentions of "Not enough HP in it" in mind, but I quickly got swept up in it. It explores themes and layers of psychosis that I have rarely seen scrutinised in HP fanfiction and, being both well written and developed, is both a fascinating and intriguing read.

I have to say that it's a great shame this is only a one shot, so much potential there for a longer story. It's a fantastic read, and like I say you don't get stories or authors writing about intricate psychosese and taking this sort of avenue very often - and when you do it's often not done well. It's a very fair point that there is little HP in it really beyond the characters and the ending, but I think that just adds to the concept. If you inserted a generic family in the same situation it would not work, it is simply the fact that we know so much about Harry and Petunia through the books and we know their 'norm' that makes this such a fascinating road to walk - you understand more about why Harry could possibly be so satisfied with his lot, and why Petunia fell apart so badly after Vernon and Dudley leaving.

Stories like this are why I read fanfiction. Creative, new, testing the limits of what you can and can't do in some ways, well developed and written, and something you would never see in book form. A great read.
