    Title: Harry's Reckoning
    Author: jmcqk6
Rating: M - somewhat heavy on the violence
    Genre: Action/Adventure / Fantasy
Pairing: None (Harry / Hermione friendship)
    Status: Completed
Summary: Staring Sixth Year Right.' Harry changed over the summer, and on the night of his return to the magical world, he seeks justice, righting the wrongs he and others have suffered.

I don't know how well this work will be accepted at these forums, but I'm going to find out. Basically, I got tired of all the fics where Harry keeps taking it up the ass from everyone and decided to write something different. It really, really pissed me off to see Umbridge at Dumbledore's funeral, and this is partly a reaction to that.

The working title to this fic was 'Starting Sixth Year Right'

I do hope you enjoy it.

Nice! I particularly like the fact that even though you took care of all his problems in one chapter, you atleast used intelligent means.
It would be best if this remains a one shot IMO.

In that thing you call a closet. Better watch out,
Meh. It's good, but the way everyone just fell to Harry's TEH AWES0ME POWUH is retarded. No spells, just sword the whole way through.

    I guess it's okay.

It wasnt that bad. It could be a good story if it became chaptered and you wrote everything out, explaining etc.

Has some nice parts, but you made a mistake of doing it too fast (one night), while you should have stretched it out over a year, or at least had Harry make some sort of plan instead of just rely on luck and unexplainable new powers.

In short, everything was stimply way too easy and... convenient.

Yeah I agree with this, but I still enjoyed it, well done.
I enjoy your stories and hope you continue with Progidy, haven't updated it in a while. Are you still continuing it or have you dropped it?

I didn't like it much. It was pretty rushed, all these things just randomly happened to harry and there wasn't much reason behind anything he was doing. All it said was 'harry was paying justice' or something like that but it didn't give any more detail. And most of it was pretty uncorordinated, all the violence was just thrown in there without any real introduction or lead-up.

Meh...it was pretty good. Probably could use a prequel of sorts, or something to the same effect, but this would make a good ending chapter to a summer-fic.

It was rushed. On the one hand I liked the kick-ass Harry. On the other it seemed like he did it all in one big moment. Personally I would have liked to see Snape in pain a little more.

Story was taken down by the author, who says, "as I never plan on finishing it. It lost it's focus and turned sour."

I enjoyed this, but then again I haven't read a good Killing Spree fic in a while. The best part, in my opinion, is here below:
It's essentially just another story about a very lucky Super!Harry fighting under-powered enemies, however.

2.5/5, rounding up for the Guilty Pleasure factor.
