It was a nice little one-shot, but nothing overwhelming brilliant.

Heh, one of those super-kids-defeat-Voldemort kinds of plots. Not bad, though.

The power the Dark Lord knows not:

Quite funny and I was smiling the entire time.

That was amusing. Not side-splittingly hilarious or especially cute. Just pleasantly amusing and it'll put a smile on your face.

And maybe I'm just trying to find something to nitpick but for some reason this perturbed me:
    This line near the end:
"The red paint that was used to write Dumbledore is a dork in twenty foot high letters across the front of the castle in your handwriting?"

If you're painting in giant letters, then it won't look like your handwriting. I mean sure you could be magically doing it, but come on. That's why you can get away with painting giant embarrassing messages. Unless you misspell a unique way or dot your I's and cross your T's a specific way.

I know. I'm being ridiculously anal and taking it too seriously. But it perturbed me.

    Enjoyable. 4/5.

I loved some of the throwaway lines.

It wasn't hilarious, but it was funny.

The ending made me laugh, but that's all I found actually funny. 4/5 though for creativity.

    Or maybe blandly spectacular?

I liked Harry's nonstop rant, but not much else. I felt that the author could have made some lines more humorous, such as the Dumbledore-the-dork line at the very end, but it just came off as bland.

Some of the ideas in that oneshot are acceptable, but the execution was awful. The rant sounded forced and the repetition of "honestly" really irritated me. 2/5, honestly.

Honestly, I was trying to force my self to smile after reading all your reviews and failed miserably. The ideas weren't even slightly amusing, the innuendos were too obvious to be funny, and the end was disappointing. Most here like it, though, so don't take my word for it and read it. You might just find it funny.
