I'm 75% sure this is going to come out a piece of shit but you gotta start somewhere right? I want to make a 1st person Dresden files fanfiction with multiple subplots going on at once. Just like the man himself: Jim Butcher. It will take place between Dead Beat and Proven Guilty.

My grammar is of an acceptable level to avoid looking like an asshat but there will most likely be many mistakes. I want a beta to bounce ideas off of and to avoid cliches and tiresome formulaic writing. If I think it's awesome but it's actually stupid I want someone to tell me that. I think DLP is the ideal place for that.

I have a rough plot already sketched out. Nothing actually written as of right now. Post on this thread if you are interested.

I have always wanted to be a Beta.

Can't guarantee I'll be any good at it, but hell, my own output has dropped off pretty sharply, so I need something to motivate me.

So yeah, I volunteer, but for completely selfish reasons.

 

I'd be willing to read it over and give feedback/bounce ideas around, though you could probably find someone who's better at copy-editing than me
