Fun fic, Light tone, and fast pace.

Not quite thought out enough too e up there with the greats but I don't think that is what the author is going for anyway.

I liked it so far. I love the Harry and Sirius duo, I'll probably keep reading it for that alone. Hope Sirius gets his memories back soon though. I'm worried about the hints at James/Lily/Sirius though, which is pretty weird.

All the people complaining about the animagus forms - seriously? I'm not a fan of most of the tropes surrounding animagi, but it's hardly a problem here. All of the animagi characters bar Harry and Sirius were left in the past, and Harry can't even use his animagus form. Yes, it's a bit cringe that they all became animagi but really, you can't even get past even just a few mentions it?

I don't think it was James/Lily/Sirius exactly but rather [James/Lily]Sirius, that is to say Sirius seems quite attached to them. Fatality might have taken it as hints for a J/L/S pairing.

 

There's also a few other points where Sirius talks about Lily fairly intensely (and James, but that makes sense as per canon). It's far from confirmed, which is why I said 'hints' at James/Lily/Sirius, but it's still concerning.

 

That does sound strangely like a threesome, I hope it's not though.

 

Fic's nice, but not quite library material IMO.

I kept getting into it then having someone act totally OOC for a moment and break my immersion, such as during Madeye's conversation with Harry in the forest.

3/5, it feels like the author himself isn't sure if they want the fic to be serious or humorous and the result is that it's neither (albeit well written).

 

I was getting the same feeling about Sirius and Harry's parents that Fatality got, but I tried to just ignore it and go on with the story.

All in all, a solid read. A 3.5/5 rounded up to a 4/5, just because it's enjoyable and there's nothing strictly wrong with it.
