    Found this little gem while searching for decent ME fics. The characterization of Shepard is fantastic, along with the rest of the cast. It's following the basic canon plot so far, though that's about to change with latest chapter. Honestly, I found this to be a great read with 57k words so far, and the humor had me laughing for a while.

    I love this fic. I get the giggles every time I reread it, and I can't recommend it higher than that. Full marks.

    Been replaying mass effect lately and just stumbled across this gem.

    Absolutely awesome. Sheppard's characterization is perfect for a renegade smartass. 5/5

    I've been reading this since it was first published. Never thought to bring it here though. >_>

    I like how Shepard's changed from a lighthearted smartass to a brooding, manic psycho. Really shows how the pressures of saving the galaxy are on him and that the nightmarish visions in his head are driving him insane.

    Don't much like his rough treatment of Liara, but he has sound enough reasons to distrust her. I also don't like how he hasn't updated in a while.

    So far, 4.5/5.

    A nice update, love the banter between Shepard and Anderson.

    There are some grammatical errors though nothing too distracting, a beta or a second read-through could really polish this up.

    This is a great fic so far; crazy, eccentric Shepard is nice and interesting, and the rest of the characters are portrayed quite well. Gotta feel sorry for poor, awkward Liara though; she never means too, but she somehow always manages to say exactly the wrong thing.

    It seems he updated the last few chapters all at once, so you might need to read back a bit before finishing up.

    Yes, a necro and a double-post, sorry, but I wanted to point out to anyone that wasn't aware that he has two sequels up, a short one-shot and another the beginning of another multi-chapter story. Well, I'm assuming that since it doesn't say "complete".
