Cobalt: Maaaaaaan you played a really good scumgame. Like you don't know how deep I was in the tunnel. If the deadline was 24 hours or so and the game ended on Monday then I would have definitely gone with my gut and lynched Acio. The setupgaming arguments were really persuasive, and the Sloth interactions threw me in a loop.

See that's what I TRIED to do with my VT claim and explanation that Proph quoted, but then the pressure was on and I tried passing off the fact that I LITERALLY MISSED NIGHT TWO as proof of protection.

And I was hoping Fonti had more tracker stocks. I think it would have been a lot more solid if she were able to actually confirm that I protected her N3. But either way it was super risky and it paid off up until F3 but at those odds I can't complain at ALL about making it that far.

Also, anytime. I try to be an asset regardless of whether or not I've been handed a good stack of cards.

Snowvon I was literally so excited to finally roll scum with you, y u do dis

Tbh, the track wouldn't have meant anything with Miner's role being confirmed.

Acio, quite honestly the moment that your avatar suddenly fucking went all GRR and then you slapped a vote on me at the beginning of the day had me almost shitting myself.

I went into it thinking you were being honest about PoEing Proph over me and that flip literally had me like oh shit oh shit oh shit

And I was bullshitting like 99% of my posts against you because tbh my F3 posts were trash other than my casepost and I could have easily been unraveled entirely if Proph just LOOKED at my reactions to early day.

If you had done more in earlygame I would have lost to you in F5 almost certainly. I still thought I might.

I was until newcomb pointed out the thing at the end of the previous day. I ran through my thoughts on everything and you hadn't done anything great behaviorally while proph /had/ even if it was potentially fakeable.

    YES.

Despite being admitidly terrified of rolling w/v against you I must insist that you play forever and we ride into the sunset together killing mafia all day every day well maybe like two days and then a bunch of town but still.

Cobalt no joke I think you played a great game. Yeah in retrospect I can see a lot of the super genuine stuff you did as keeping mislynchs open and such, but there were 12+ hour stretches where I was pretty damn convined you were town. Hat's off.

Eido tried to break the news gently but I still had to set aside some time to have myself a good cry.

The difference is mostly circumstance - the same coming from someone in the position of you or acio is towny, because your standing is more solid and it's expected that you'll be trying to figure out everything.

The same play coming from someone who is up for lynching is more scummy for a few reasons. You have more information than everyone else: You know you're town, and can view others with that in mind. So you should have a better idea as to who is what alignment because of that.

Following on, when you're under scrutiny like that as town you just don't need to be able to pivot your lynch vote on a dime like Cobalt was setting up to do in F5->F3, since if you're not scum the possibility pool for scum is so small that such a thing is unnecessary.

(Sure, you can be wrong in that spot as town in the PoE, but that's beside the point since your reads can be wrong no matter what line you take).

Cobalt you played well, but it was always you in my view.

Honestly impressed with you, Cobalt. You did pretty awesomely.
(...Man, I love how everyone was trying to overanalyze the NK...I wonder what they thought when they read that you just completely forgot about it. XD)

(I'm only bringing it up because I read so many of Snowvon's posts while I was rereading)
