Bought these today since ncix had some crazy deals going on for the summer.

That rounds to about $731 USD, pretty good deal IMO. Tell me what you guys think.

Er, I'm out of the loop on current builds, but did AMD actually finally come back and overcome the Intel chips? Cause the Core Duo I have walked the fucking dog on whatever AMD chip my boy had, that cost him 4 times more, lol.

Dunno bout older AMD chips, but this phenom 2 is great, it matches the i7 in gaming performance, and is 100 bux cheaper. Generally intel chips are better, and have better drivers, but AMD is cheaper and better for the value. Gonna OC this baby to maybe 3.6-4.0.

    :O $-90 dollars proccesor? WHERE?!

Haha nice, you should post your specs. Did you already order it? I don't like newegg much anymore, i prefer ncix or tigerdirect, much better deals IMO.

Add an extra $50 for a high speed hard disk for your OS and other essentials.

A SSHD? No thx, they don't give that much of a boost besides loading things up faster.

That is way wrong, my friend powers a gtx 260 with 550 watt, and all the reviews say 600 w will work fine for gtx 275, im thinking they are recommending that for SLI purposes.

Isn't that the boost they're supposed to give?

HDDs are often a bottleneck, a 10k rpm is no stupid investion. Not gonna give you countable frames, but still.
