    I dunno about the others, but I bought Mean Streets not too long ago and I'm happy with it.

    I'm also a fan of Simon R. Green's Nightside though, so that may be part of it.

    If I were you, I'd wait until fall of this year, since Butcher is releasing a collection of his Dresden short stories, featuring a few we haven't seen yet.

    But I have to agree with Oz, the short stories are definitely worth the purchase.

    I'd wait a little bit though. I know Butcher has said that sometime this summer or fall that there will be an anthology released that has all of the shorts stories in it.
