Yeah, but I worry that black Bond would be less Conway Stern and more Ice Cube, simply because that’s how Hollywood does black action heroes.

Haven't read anything by her in years, but she was one of the writers who got me into science fiction at a young age. Her work taught me how to dream. RIP.

For people who care, Oscar nominations have been announced. Wikipedia link. Shape of Water is shaping up (geddit) to clean the slate, 13 nominations. Dunkirk came second with 8.

I gotta get to the Oscar movies. Even the fucking King Kong movie sneaked in there. I forgot that was even a thing.

I kinda want Jordan Peele to win Best Director just see him say "I'd like to thank the Academy".

Oh, and Jimmy Kimmel is hosting, fuck me :/

Oh I care. Someone had the audacity to put Baby Boss next to Coco.

    Farce.

At least people are apparently as indignant as I am from what I've seen.

I assume they needed to pad the category?

Once spy agencies around the world spent millions upon millions to track and discover enemy bases, today you can simply look on a map by a popular jogging up and discover them yourself, at least to a guardian article. I admit that I mostly find this a funny and clearly unintended byproduct but it is yet another reminder just what data there is already out there and what we can expect to see in the future.

Eh, I try to keep an open mind when it comes to this (and a lifelong monogamous relationship isn't exactly what I dream about) but I would strongly prefer if such a thing was discussed beforehand. And I am not sure if I would still call it "cockolding" if the couple agreed to it.

Zero experience with the whole thing but isn't the whole divide between cheating/cockolding the partners knowledge?

Also the whole watching it bit I guess.

Purely on the basis of definitions, a cuckold is just any man whose partner (traditionally, then, his wife) has committed adultery. Whether he knows about it is beside the point.

Except that this discussion is clearly about the fetish, so the more medieval definition isn't quite as relevant here. Koalas is correct that the partner's knowledge is a dividing line, at least if Wikipedia is to be believed.

And now that's in my search history.

So apparently a woman tried to bring her emotional support animal onto a United flight and got rejected.

Given that the animal in question is a Peacock, I'm gonna say I side with the airline here.

The fact that have to specifically deny shit like ferrets, spiders, goats or anything else with tusks or horns is ridiculous.

    I hate people sometimes.

Having been around Peacock's I can't imagine one bringing emotional support to anyone ever. Pretty sure the only thing a peacock can inspire is the sudden urge to kick a up-jumped turkey.

I hadn't actually seen how they look. I was sort of imaging it being something above the drivers head protruding from the engine hump. But this just looks dopey as all hell.

If they were going this far with it why not just have a cockpit?

Looks like it's gonna split the driver's FOV. Wtf is this. Just have two side arches, like in regular cars. Or be humane and just build a cabin with AC for the driver. I as a viewer will sacrifice a few seconds off the lap if it means the drivers aren't driving in 40+ Celsius for 2 hours.
