Resolved Not able to view sent PMs

    This may simply be a lack of understanding on my part, so I apologize if that is the case.

    I was recently conversing with people through PMs, and I sent a reply to someone. When checking my messages, I was both unable to view the message I sent in my Sent PMs section, and unable to see it in the message history of the PM I received. When I sent a completely new PM to someone, I could view it through the Read Receipt functionality but not in the sent PMs box. I've since seen a repeat of the problem of being unable to see sent replies. This leads me to believe they may not be sent at all, though I'm not sure how to check that.

    When sending the message, below the message be sure to check the following:

    • Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.

    Ah, if that's the only problem, that's a relief. I'll try that with future PMs and see if the problem persists. It's still a bit annoying that I have no other verification if the PM sent or not, but as long as I remember to check that I should be fine.

    You can also permanently check that option in your option window:

    Look for the "Private Messaging" panel.
    Its last checkbox is "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" - if you enable that, all your sent messages are saved.
