Well, for me it's because we started with one, but he pretty quickly got bored with being in the house alone while the rest of the family was at work. So we got a female dog to keep him company (my choice, she was adorable). Then a few years later we decided it'd be a good idea to have some puppies around the house.

It wasn't a particularly pleasant birth, I must admit, but we kept one pup and gave the other to a friend. And that's how we ended up with three.

I'm still very attached to the pup we kept. I raised her from birth and she will be my dog til the day she dies.

Well Austin (Big white one) his parents were two seperate breeds who were suppose to breed with dogs from their breeds but they got together. So my Stepmother adopted him cause they were giving him away. Then the two little ones were going to be bred together but the girl turned out to be too small so that didn't happen.

I had three bichons before I moved. They're lovely dogs and I miss them immensely. They are a bit... loud, though.

Cloud thing is probably the most accurate description you could have given. I'm still not sure where its (his?) paw/front fur ends and the pillow/sheet underneath begins in the bottom right.

You should see him play and frolic around with bigger dogs. He honestly has no self-awareness or realization that he is a cloud, and not actually a dog. Silly cloud thing.

Him a bit younger for the absurdity of it: http://i.imgur.com/JiFFRoN.png

This is Holly. She's a sweet, if somewhat nippy, dog but we're working on that.

Had one dog. She got lonely at home by herself, so we adopted a second one. Then something about Chinese superstitions on how the number 2 is bad, so we got a third.

Used to have a chihuahua that resembled the taco bell dog. He was pretty epic and used to put a tiny sombrero on him.

Here's Kidra, fresh from her 18th birthday on the 1st of June, getting an unwanted bath. Sarah, 4-year-old mother of five (including the four kittens from this post) managed to sneak up on the ol' gal and start grooming her.

When I'm the human equivalent of her age, I should hope to be so lucky.

And here's the disheveled birthday gal, seconds after discouraging Sarah with a smack in the face.

This house has far too many of two things, both of which are in this picture.
Yes, that furry thing is Spenser; like most of his siblings, he has been bigger than his mother for a long time now.

This is Kalo. He's six years old and a total bro. Sleeps on the couch when he knows he shouldn't, but I usually catch him when I get home from work.

Here's an album from the puppy years and up till when he was three. I think.

Holy shit Warlocke. Is 2777 the amount of books you own, or cats? :p

Since I'm here, have a picture of my brother's easter egg:

lol, post number. There are probably more books...

My condolences. Labs seem to be a good breed. We had a black lab, back in the day, named Jake.

He probably would have been big, too; His sister, a yellow lab named Hannah, grew to be 114 pounds. Unfortunately, Jake died as a puppy, but we had Hannah for a while (11 years before cancer got her). She was the most even tempered and good-natured dog you ever saw.
