    Replays Thread

So, from looking into the "Ranked Diaries" thread, I found something quite lacking.

We're giving our own self-critique and summarizing our own games, but how are other people seeing it? Through our own rose-tinted words.

So I'm thinking, there's a workable replay client that records matches. Why not load those up and let others critique it? That way, there's no personal bias from the self and people can try to improve their game through, hopefully, honest opinions.

    To start off: Downloading LoLReplay

Download, set up, configure replay settings etc.

There are two modes for replays to be saved in: Spectator and Live. Live will pretty much follow your actions, show you team chats, and actively see what is being noticed from the player's perspective.

Spectator is, as the name suggests, a replay recorded in spectator mode, having the full benefits of it and basically being the same as spectating a match.

Once the replay is recorded, load it to the Replay server via the client.

    Then, go here: http://www.leaguereplays.com/summoner_search/

And type in your summoner name. Click on your name and find your replay and link it here.

Then, hopefully, people will watch it and take enough pity you (Or in this case me) to offer advice.

It doesn't necessarily need to be games you lost either. You can upload your winning games and ask how to improve on them, since there's always something to work on.

A good name set-up for replays in settings is this:

    <queue> - <avgelo> - <summoner> – <champion> – <score> – <win>

Which gives you queue type, average Elo of all players, your name, champion played, your score, and match results.

Linking my last few ranked matches:

So guys, anyone that feels like it, rip me a new one. What can I improve on my last 9 matches? (These were seriously my last 9 ranked matches).

I just saw your taric game, and there's not much to comment seeing as you guys were far enough ahead the enemy basically just turned around every time you walked forward. Nonetheless, one small thing that might help is the starting inventory. For aggressive supports, I usually find it far more beneficial to start Faerie Charm, 1 pink and 2 green wards. (Or just one green if you aren't running gold masteries). In the end, if you take out their lane bush ward, you come out ahead. If the enemy does not have vision of that bush, it makes their laning experience infinitely harder (can't poke down the taric that's sitting in the bush).

Since no one seems to record their own replays... Guess I'll make this the replay drop thread for fun games.

@Tragic: Normally, I do that in aggressive lanes, but I'm at that point where invades happen every game now. 4 wards is hard to pass up.

    Taric:

Enemy team ended up playing "Chase the Taric" and losing Baron fight.
