It was probably the best fic of its kind out there. Surprisingly readable, I mean, him having a kid and everything.

I gave up reading this around the time he went to Hogwarts. Not bad, but not good. 2/5

This is one of those stories, like Knowledge is Power, that I look back on and remember the handful of epic moments and tend to forget the cringe-worthy bits in between (until I would go reread, that is, and then I would surprise myself by how much I would have to skim).

If one skips the sappy baby moments, Ginny's flashing her tits at Harry, and interminable descriptions of what Harry decided to wear that day, it is probably a 3/5. With those moments, it was appropriately placed in the Recycling Bin.

Huh, I kinda liked this story. As you noted Perspicacity - it did have its moments. I found the whole Harry/Hermione thing ridiculous, but I did like the half-vampire female OC Harry hooked up with. The baby was annoying.

Shame it's gone. I'm too lazy to look at the moment, but is there a copy of this in Borgin's DLP library jamboree?

Was it deleted by the author? Or was it was it removed by the administrators? Since, I couldn't even find the author's profile. And I am not sure if people can delete their accounts at FFN by themselves.

    Yes, there is.

I remember reading this story a long time back. Some parts were good, some were pathetic. I remember getting bored and never reading the fic to its completion.

I always did love this story. Even if the other members thought it was crap, I found myself very disappointed that it was deleted.

You're giving it too much credit. It was definitely not readable - objectively, the writing competence just wasn't there.

I kinda liked it too, back in the days. It was kind of unique, and still is, as readable AU indy!Harry fics are still rather rare.

Though, yeah, the mushy parts had been irritating, but that's to be expected with a girl writing it. She even wrote a short sequel "Shake Me - Moonlight Wedding", which I didn't read.

The author goes by Tranquilized-Alias nowadays.

Story is available in the DLP Archive as well, in HTML format.

I really wanted to give it a 3, but writing just isn't clean enough and the author puts far too many things into the story just for making Harry more bad-ass.

But there are definitely quite a few interesting sequences here, and a few funny parts.

I've tried Google (in fact, that's how I found this thread), and I got the two results listed here, as well as this thread. Neither of them will load. All the rest of the results on the first 50 matches seem to be pages with links that point to the dead fanfiction.net link.

So where in the archive can I find it? All I can seem to find is this thread.
I'm not active here enough to know if I'm missing something semi-obvious to the regulars.

Wow. How ever did you read through my super subtle joke of changing one letter from an insult into a completely different and unoffensive word for the purpose of humor?!

    I applaud your genius.
