Pay the Man and I Love My Friends by Foster the People

All three had CDs come out within the last year that I fuck with heavy. The Neighborhood especially, I loved every song pretty much.

Been on a Clapton binge lately and finally got to listen to the live record from San Diego he made with J.J. Cale in 2007. The version of “Layla” on that album is superb.

There’s a YouTube link, but the audio is pretty broken on that one, with the drums offset from the rest of the music, so I’d rather recommend the usual streaming services to listen to it instead.

I have no idea why, but lately I've been rooting around Soundcloud, but my friend recommended this and I can't stop singing it.

World cup fever has hit me hard in the last few days and I've racked up a lot of plays of Three Lions by Baddiel, Skinner and Lightning Seeds.

    I'm feeling a bit like Pachelbel's Canon in C(hicken).

While listening to the soundtrack of The Hobbit this came up. Really enjoyed this group, and this song in particular. Those references to Beleriand almost made me want to read the Silmarillion again.

This piano medley of various pieces from the HP movies is amazing. Really makes me want to write something ;)

I was looping this while working on some FO4 stuff, and then looked up and realized I'd been listening to it for over an hour...

Late to the party, but I currently have Duro y Suave on loop. I listen to a lot of this type of music and much of it is very samey so it's always good to come across something a bit different. The tempo changes really hook you.

Something a bit different/experimental, a kind of Phantom of the Opera meets trap... Phantom of the Dance Floor by Kiesza feat. Philippe Sly.

Philippe Sly has a really amazing voice (his part starts at 1:24) and I hope he does more stuff like this, in addition to his normal classical performances.

I've been listening to this live version of La Gare by Pomme more times than has been healthy during the past week.

I'll get tired of it at some point, but this is really fucking beautiful.
