    Hello everyone. I am momo and will be modding this game. My backup is his fluffiness. His words are mine. If you break the rules once you will receive an in-thread warning. If you break a different rule again, you get a warning. The second same rule violation or third regular violation will result in replacement.

    Anyways onto the setup.

    We will be playing a standard Stack the Deck setup - the innocent child because well, the people/modding advisers have voted on no IC.

    Day deadlines will be 7 days, night deadlines will be 48 hours. I play on mafia scum but I know DLP is used to shorter days so I have shortened MS days by half. If I find serious objections to this decision, I will bring down day deadline 1 or 2. This provides you people with more time if you want it. Remember, you can still end the day early with a lynch.

    We will be doing that you need 50%+1 votes to lynch.

    This setup will have 12 players; 9 town, 1 mafia traitor, and 2 mafia goons.

    There will be daystart and role modifications.

    Modifications
    During pre-game, mafia have 72 hours to select which (if any) of the modifications they want to their team. A maximum of three modifications may be selected.

    Bulletproof
    Role Cop
    JOAT (1 shot Strongman, 1 shot Ninja)
    Daytalk (passive ability)
    Recruit Traitor as Mafia Goon
    For each modification that is selected by the mafia, town gains an additional role as well. The town has two roles to start, resulting in a maximum of five town roles randomly selected from the following:

    Goon Cop
    Roleblocker
    Tracker
    Bodyguard
    Vigilante
    The following things should be noted by mods:

    At the beginning of the game all town aligned players receive a "Vanilla Town" role. Once mafia has selected their abilities all town roles go out. This prevents claims of "received roles before/after mafia modifications".
    No player may receive more than one role/modification
    The mafia traitor may not receive any abilities if not recruited as well.

    Mafia Goon
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner [Player Name]. Additionally you know a Mafia Traitor exists, but you do not know who they are
    Abilities:
    Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner(s) here [QuickTopic link].
    Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partners may perform the factional kill.
    Before the game begins, you may choose up to three of the following abilities to add to your faction, but for each ability you add town will get an additional ability:
    Change a Mafia Goon to Mafia Role Cop
    Change a Mafia Goon to Mafia Bulletproof
    Change a Mafia Goon to Mafia JOAT (One Shot Ninja, One Shot Strongman)
    Recruit the Mafia Traitor as a Mafia Goon
    Enable passive daytalk
    Win condition:
    You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

    Mafia Traitor
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Traitor. You know that [Player Name] and [Player Name] are Mafia Goons.
    Abilities:
    You have a one shot bulletproof ability if you are not recruited.
    If you are not recruited and are the last surviving member of the mafia, you will take over the factional kill.
    If you are recruited by the mafia you will become a mafia goon.
    Win condition:
    You win when all members of the town have been eliminated or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

    Vanilla Townie
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Vanilla Townie.
    Abilities:
    You currently have no special abilities.
    Win condition:
    You win when all threats to the town are dead.

    Town Roles

    After mafia has selected their modifications (if any) town roles from the following pool are distributed. No player may receive more than one of any of the roles and no more than one of any role may be present.

    Goon Cop
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Goon Cop.
    Abilities:
    Each night you may target a player. You will receive a result of "Goon", "Not a Goon" or "No Result".
    Win condition:
    You win when all threats to the town are dead.
    Roleblocker

    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Roleblocker.
    Abilities:
    Each night you may target a player. They will be prevented from performing any actions for the night.
    Win condition:
    You win when all threats to the town are dead.

    Tracker
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Tracker.
    Abilities:
    Each night you may target a player. You will be informed who, if anyone, they targeted during the night.
    Win condition:
    You win when all threats to the town are dead.

    Bodyguard
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Bodyguard.
    Abilities:
    Each night you may target a player. If they would die during the night, you will die in their place.
    Win condition:
    You win when all threats to the town are dead.

    Vigilante
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Vigilante.
    Abilities:
    Each night you may target a player to attempt to kill.
    Win condition:
    You win when all threats to the town are dead.

    Mafia Roles

    The mafia goons may select up to three of the following modifications. Multiple role modifiers may not go to the same player. This means a choice of "Bulletproof, Role Cop, JOAT" is an invalid option. A recruited goon may receive a role.

    Mafia Bulletproof
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Mafia Bulletproof
    Additional Abilities
    You are immune to all night kills

    Mafia Role Cop
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Mafia Role Cop
    Additional Abilities
    Each night you may target a player. You will learn what, if any, role they may have.

    Mafia JOAT
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Mafia JOAT with a one shot ninja ability and a one shot strongman ability
    Additional Abilities
    Once during any night you may use a ninja kill. This kill will be unable to be tracked.
    Once during any night you may use a strongman kill. This kill will unable to be blocked by any method.

    Recruited Goon
    Welcome, [Player Name]. You are now a Mafia Goon with [Player Name] who is a XXX and [Player Name] who is a YYY.
    Additional Abilities

    ^Observer Chat. IE those who don't want to play and also the place where the dead players can sit and discuss the goings on of the game thread as it is taking place. Living players are not allowed to view, and some Observer Chats also keep it a secret who is scum and who is town by not allowing a link to the various player QTs.

    I think that, given the apathy that occurred in the previous couple of games (at least for me), shorter days might be better.

    Tentative /in, but I have no idea how long signups will take nor if daylengths will be changed so I'll only be able to give a definite answer closer towards gamestart.

    Also, I quite like the longer days to be perfectly honest - it's a slower game, but that's almost the point? Like, it's a mafia game you don't have to give up 2-4 day chunks of time with a 1 day gap between them. You can take a more measured pace. Marathon not sprint, etc.

    I'm not incredibly optimistic of this filling with the response from some of the recent mainstays, but I do have the time to play in this right now, and probably the health. I'll tentatively /in.
