If they end up being as awesome as some of the matches I've seen of Koreans playing StarCraft, so do I.

(Also, gimmick builds are incredibly fucking entertaining.)

Lol yeah, they're mobile sunkens, but they get pwned pretty hard if the enemy catches them while they're uprooted.

One thing I gotta boo about in sc2 is that they took out lurkers... T_T

    Yesterday's leftovers.
And they took out goliaths, those things owned pretty hard. Now we have transformers instead (which do have their own advantages, but having to swap modes for anti-air kinda sucks)

There are other methods for anti-air. Having not played the beta or watched too many Terran games, I'm not sure what most of those methods are, but they exist.

Also, sensor towers are a good idea.

Supposedly sensor towers are absolutely useless.

Just hearing it from the guy who's stream I'm watchin'.

It just seems like it would be a useful concept. They give you a huge radar range, and tell you when units are within it. As far as I know, it doesn't detect units in the way an observer would, but it'll show you they're there. Useful for keeping an eye on your base via the minimap.

At least, that's how I see it as a non-player.

I don't even know if it'll tell you an invis unit is there. Doesn't really make sense for you to know the location but not be able to attack it.

    Advance warning? "Scan/send detector here"?

EDIT: Checked the StarCraft 2 Armory; basically, it has a radar function on top of its normal vision that shows units in the fog of war. Whether or not this affects cloaked units I don't know, but it makes sense that it should.

A new launcher released by a group allows singpleplayer mode, just no AI. Pretty fun IMO xD.

I saw, yeah. If I had more time, I'd go more in-depth.

The only problem with this launcher is that you can't control which race you play short of loading and reloading the game until you get the one you want.

From what I've seen so far, it certainly looks like the zergs are a lot stronger than all other races. Just had a "wtf" moment at their new guardian/queen unit that made mincemeat out of all ground troops.

Its actually really bad vs marines, its a support unit made to expand creep/ faster larva spawn.

Naw I meant the SC2 Devourer rehash that can morph into a ground attacker. It shoots out two broodling-like creatures to the ground per attack and from what I see, they don't last very long but can be a mobile zergling factory in how quickly the overrun everything. Massacred a group of hydralisks and roaches in seconds.

Edited to make it more coherent :p.

Have you used/seen them used against Terran or Protoss?
