Tried to pre-purchase LotV today, couldn't. Either pre-purchasing is closed (of which there is no notification anywhere), or Blizzard is still not accepting Greek credit cards, or there's something else going on that I don't know about.

Oh well. It's not like I wanted to throw money Blizzard's way.

Lolwat? Blizz stopped accepting Greek credit cards?

    I hope you're not joking.

That's the thing, I don't know. But some time ago things like that were being heard. PaySafe cards stopped being issued, PSN currency cards stopped being imported etc.

PaySafe has returned since, but I have no clue what Blizzard's issue is. I used a credit card to buy SC2 like 2 years ago without a problem, so something is going on.

There was an issue for me with Blizzard and PayPal last week. I just deleted all my payment methods and re-added paypal and it works fine now.

I guess I'll join the ranks of sad, sad people watching LotV on streams rather than playing it.

I wonder if they sell physical copies of SC2 expansions ...

Of course they do, I see 'em around lots.

sOs is incredibly nice, by the way. After every match he stayed on stage to sign as much stuff as possible for every fan that came up to him, even when the stage managers were gesturing for him to come off. His legs were killing him, kneeling to sign all the stuff and pose in awkward ways for pictures on that stage. :D

    So. I require halp.

Bought physical copy of LotV. Two discs inside. All the 'manual' says is to pop the disc in and follow the on-screen istructions. None of which actually pop when either of the discs is inside. Google hasn't been much help either. First disc asks for permission, pretends to install something for five seconds then stops, with no change to the client or the game. Second disc does nothing.

It's probably really really simple and I'm missing it by a thread, but I haven't had to install an expansion with discs before.

Edit: Also, what OS? It'll probably help others help you.

    NuitTombee W10.

And yeah, it does ask permission for Disc 1. When I accept it opens the client and opens an installation bar that reads 'fetching encoding table', which then switches to 'initializing' which then stop entirely. All the while the Play button is very much there.

Disc 1 contain the SC2 Startup.exe. The second disc is seemingly empty.

Does the physical copy come with some sort of cd key you can use to add the game to your battlenet account? You might be able to download the game if you can't get the cd to work.

Battle.net refuses to accept my authentication code. It says that it 'Cannot be claimed'.

Was the place you bought it reputable? Does the region you bought it match the one on your account?

Yes to both. I contacted a Game Master on chat and we solved the issue.

I am now the proud owner of LotV. I'll see you all on the other side.

If anyone wants to play some Co-Op on the European servers, throw me a note. Looking at my APM you'd think i'm playing with my knees, but we'll have a good time and a lot of laughs.

Edit: Not sure, how easy is it to change regions on SC2?

Yeah. I guess I just dismiss the idea out of hand because on Hearthstone collection doesn't carry over so switching is useless, but on SC2 I guess that doesn't matter.

I repeat anyone that want's to play co-op (on any server, apparently) let me know.

Edit: Co-Op is amazingly fun! You all should try it.
