So I came across this story again recently and remembered how much I enjoyed it. I think this is one of the best OP Harry stories I have across. Yes, Harry is OP but that does not stop him from having problems and in fact causes a few due to his inability to negotiate and solve everything through magical power. I was very sad when this stopped updating.

Has anyone come across something similar? I enjoy a Harry that has power enough to push through common obstacles but one that isn't able to just crubstomp every single issue. I enjoyed how in Harry Potter and the Hero's Path the fact that he can't play politics creates a lot of challenges for him.

Any recommendations would be awesome!

 

Well, it's one of the staples of the fandom so there's a good chance you're already read it, but Wastelands of Time fits the bill for OP Harry who can't fix everything.
