A new series was announced called Dresden Files: Down Town.

Molly is nice and Gard is even better. Marcone is mediocre and Mouse escaped from Disney animation.

 

Loved Molly and Gard. Marcone is just like I imagined him, but Mouse isn't kung fuish enough. The Sorcerer reminds me too much of someone to take him seriously. If he says 'Arry I will lose it.

 

WANT SO MUCH.

Molly and Gard are pretty neat. I agree that Marcone could use some work, I thought at first that it was Hendrics but no... that's John Marcone.

Mister is exactly how I imagine him but Mouse doesn't look 'Wally-Mammoth' enough.

 

And Hendricks looked way too squat. Guy's supposed to be pretty damn tall, on top of being built like a linebacker.

Guy looks a fuckton more badass than I thought. Damn. 0.o It makes a lot more sense when he seemed perfectly confident in his ability to bounce Dresden off the walls as he threatened in one of the books. xD

The house doesn't look old enough, and it's too close to the neighbors... But that might just be headcanon.

Other than that, looks good, and made me chuckle.

 

I'm with LC on the house not being old enough. Looks too suburbanite for Harry. I always thought he lived in like an old Prohibition Era style townhouse within the city.

 

^ Agree with that, and also despite all the descriptions in the book that's really not how I've envisioned Molly.

 

More feminine? That was my thought, or maybe more pixie-fae like. Too strong and masculine a facial structure in the comic.

I'm still going to read the comic though. Because Dresden.

 

The one with "Hi Harry" doesn't look as much like her. The one with "To cold" more so. I'd like to see one where her face isn't screwed up in concentration. Not the color of blue I imagined for her eyes, but fuck it.

For some reason, I always imagined Harry's house was accessed via back alley stairs that descended to his door. But it's been a real long while since I actually read the books.

 

That's always been my impression as well. There's no way the house would stay standing after how his wards dealt with the zombies in Dead Beat if it was indoors.
