Has anybody ever played this?

The Wizards Chronicles. Harry Potter game by trade, content for all. Small download. Small playerbase - everyone knows everyone. Great community with some dramatic history (there's even a wiki!).

Learn spells from classes and quests, collect items, create magical ones, enhance your stats and, most importantly, test your skills in duels.

Trade in gold, participate in clan wars (Deatheaters vs Aurors) - work your way through the playerbase to become the Head of Aurors or the Dark Lord.

Admin/staff run game as Professors and Headmasters. Very fun for a voluntary staffbase with small/no budget.

I have been playing TWC for 4 years now. It's a great game which I recommend to anyone if they like Harry Potter. You can level up get stronger, Go to classes and learn a lot of spells, get to clans and many many more stuff!

 

And its just a coincidence that you both joined recently and sound like bad car salesmen?

 

So I went in with a tiny drop of hope, and was disappointed. If you're going the 2D route (mapping in RPGMaker at any rate) then at least do it right.

You guys can't just go in for 5 minutes and give the game bad rates. Stay for a while, get to know the community. Actually learn spells, fight monsters and other players. Get a feel for instead of judging from the beginning.

 

So what I'm guessing happened here is that you guys made this or are involved in it to some degree. You saw an active forum with a Harry Potter theme and thought, "we'll recruit some new users here."

If you had been open an honest from the start instead of coming across as salesmen it might have been received more favourably.

 

Very close. We're long time players of the game - not involved in staffing. We've had several of the player base decrease activity due to natural causes (work, age, new commitments).

We've been looking at ways to bring this game some new members who are Harry Potter enthusiasts such as ourselves. Beyond it's initial graphic, I assure you that there's more than meets the eye. Several great features and a fantastic community.

I implore you to have a look at this game and give it a chance. With the spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, being released next year we hope for a small blip in new players.

It's pretty bad

 

If you are going to say its bad you need to do something better than that. Give specific details. Is the game not your style? Don't like the graphics? Is something missing? You should tell us these things so we know why you don't like it and so the staff can make the game even better.
